Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor joined Darren “Doogie” Wolfson for a segment of “The Scoop!” to discuss multiple things.

Taylor had a pretty interesting comment on whether a Jimmy Butler trade will happen, and it seems like he thinks it will.

“I don't want to ever say that you do it because there's a deadline or anything like that, but I think it's a fair question that you ask me, and my opinion is now is that that opportunity will present itself,” Taylor said. “You know, it will happen. But if it doesn't, it doesn't. But my guess today is that that will happen.”

There isn't really a clear front-runner to acquire Butler. The teams who have been mostly linked to the Timberwolves star is the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets. Recently, it was rumored the Rockets are offering four first-round picks, which is pretty astonishing.

In the end, most people feel like a Butler trade at some point will happen, and it will. With the friction between him and Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, it is pretty clear a trade will go down at some point during the season.

The question that remains in a Butler trade: When will it happen? What team will actually acquire him?

If indeed the Rockets are offering four first round picks for Butler, then it may seem like they could be the clear favorites to land the star in a trade.

However, the Wolves may not want to trade him to a Western Conference team and would rather trade him to an Eastern Conference team. It will be very interesting to what happens in the coming days and weeks on a Butler trade.

There have been so many twists in turns in this drama, who knows where the drama will lead us to next.
