Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley is no stranger to technical fouls. Behind DeMarcus Cousins, he has the second-most career technicals out of any player currently in the NBA. So, you won't be surprised to hear that Beverley received yet another one on Wednesday against the Jazz. In a game that the Timberwolves failed to keep pace with the Jazz, Beverley decided it was the perfect time to talk a little trash.

As you can see, the referees did not take too kindly to Patrick's antics and immediately gave him the technical foul. On the year Beverley is averaging eight points, four assists, and four rebounds which is right around his career averages. One would expect a player of this caliber to be a very minimal trash talker on the court given his limited basketball skills,  but not Beverley.

He has repeatedly shown time and again that his mouth will always be louder than his play and tonight was no different. This is probably why, despite being an All-NBA caliber defender, that Beverley has bounced around the NBA more than he probably should have. There is always some good with Beverley but you have to take it with all of the bad that comes with it. The Timberwolves knew this when they traded for Beverley in the Summer and it should not be surprising anyone in Minnesota right now. Beverley is an extremely volatile player and that is exacerbated by the fact that Minnesota is not winning very many basketball games.
