Caleb Farley was a projected top 10 pick entering the 2021 NFL Draft. When questions popped up regarding a recent back surgery, his draft stock plummeted big time. The Tennessee Titans believed and trusted in their medical evaluations and drafted the Virginia Tech cornerback with the No. 22 pick in the draft. And now, Farley is set to hit the field in training camp.

The Titans have had a big offseason that started with acquiring Julio Jones from the Atlanta Falcons. Tennessee clearly believes they are in win now mode with quarterback Ryan Tannehill and it's hard to blame them for having those thoughts after an 11-5 season in 2020. In fact, the Titans haven't had a losing season since 2015 when they went 3-13.

In a division that has the rebuilding Jaguars and the sinking Texans, it will likely come down to the Colts and Titans again in the AFC South. The Titans have made the necessary moves to try and enhance their own chances and getting Caleb Farley at No. 22 in the draft could turn out to be a huge steal.

There's a legitimate chance that Farley could come in right away and start for the Titans. Tennessee was pretty thin at cornerback entering the offseason so they went out and drafted three corners in the first six rounds of the draft. Farley being the first round selection obviously puts a little more on his shoulders to produce early.

It should be another exciting year for the Titans and the news got even better with Caleb Farley coming off of the physically unable to perform list.
