Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry 2018 was filled with some very high high's and some very low low's but he is not focused on what happened last year and is just ready to move on. The first 12 games of last year Henry didn't rush more than 58 yards in a game.

The last four games of the year were a change of story. rushing for at least 84 yards in each game and against the Jacksonville Jaguars he put up 238 yards and four touchdowns.

Henry knows it doesn't matter what happened last year and he is ready to start over in the 2019 season.

“Starting over,” Henry said to reporters during Thursday’s press conference via Titans Wire. “I’m not worried about last year. Last year’s in the past. Got to start over. Building with this team in OTAs and the offseason and trying to get this thing going, but not really worried about last year. It’s in the past.”

With former Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur moving on the Green Bay Packers, the team promoted former tight end's coach Arthur Smith.

Henry is excited that the system is mostly the same and he is excited about the chemistry that the team is building.

“I love Arthur,” he said of his new coordinator. “It’s been fun. I’ve known Arthur going on Year 4, so I’m excited and know he’s building team chemistry while we’re out here.”

Henry is going to get his chances to be the lead back under Smith and the hope with that comes more consistency.
