The Tennessee Titans have clinched the AFC South in dramatic fashion. Coming down to the wire against the Houston Texans, the Titans broke the tie and won the game on a last-second Sam Sloman field goal.

The field goal was set up with a bomb downfield from Ryan Tannehill to AJ Brown to put the Titans in field goal range.

This would set up Tennessee into perfect position to kick the game-winning field goal, but it was not without drama. A timeout was called by Texans coach Romeo Crennel to ice Sam Sloman before he kicked the attempt. Following the timeout, Sloman would doink it off the upright and in to win the game for the Titans.

What a dramatic way to end the season and send the Titans into the playoffs!

This is the second straight season the Titans made it into the playoffs and the third time in four seasons. This, however, marks the first time in over a decade that Tennessee has won the division. The AFC South has been a crazy division over the past decade, with all four teams winning the division at least once now.

While the Houston Texans have been the team to beat in the division for the majority of the last 10 years, they are faltering, and the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars do not appear quite at the same level as the Titans, so this division may be Tennessee's for the next few years moving forward. For now, however, the Titans are just looking to get past the rest of the AFC and into the Super Bowl.
