The Arizona Cardinals waived veteran Tramaine Brock earlier in the week but it didn't take long for him to find a new home. According to Mike Garafolo, the Tennessee Titans have claimed Brock off of waivers.

Before being released by Arizona, Brock was the highest-graded cornerback for the Cardinals per Pro Football Focus. Despite not having an interception, Brock has been given a 66.4 coverage grade by allowing 32 receptions on 46 targets.

Prior to joining the Cardinals in 2019, Brock spent the majority of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. His best season came in 2013 when he totaled 37 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and five interceptions for the 49ers.

As for the Titans, they are bringing in Brock to provide some depth at a position that has begun to get thin. In Tennessee's victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Adoree Jackson was forced to make an early exit because of a knee injury.

Besides Jackson, Malcolm Butler is already on injured reserve with a wrist ailment. On top of that, one of their depth options in LeShaun Sims is also dealing with an ankle injury. Therefore, the Titans were in desperate need to bring in someone who could play if need be.

Currently, both Jackson and Sims are questionable to play in Week 14 against the Oakland Raiders. The only healthy starter remaining at cornerback for the Titans is Logan Ryan.

With the Titans still in the playoff race, they are hoping injuries don't cost them in the coming weeks.

At the same time, Brock could be thrust into a starting role soon if Jackson and Sims sit out this week.
