Tom Brady's impending return to New England is the talk of the NFL for Week 4. But Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel has clearly heard enough about it.
Vrabel was reportedly asked about Tom Brady's return numerous times. The Titans coach gave a stern reaction to this last one, clearly irked with the persistence, and proceeded to walk out.
“It doesn't affect me one bit,” said the Titans coach.
The question wasn't totally random, given that Vrabel was a huge part of the Patriots teams with Brady back in the 2000s. But Mike Vrabel clearly has bigger problems on his mind than Tom Brady. The Titans are expected to be without both star wide receivers Julio Jones and AJ Brown.
Both players are dealing with hamstring injuries that could easily be aggravated given the demanding position they play on the field. The pair had missed practice and were eventually ruled out for the Titans' Week 4 matchup against the New York Jets.
Perhaps Mike Vrabel will be in a better mood if they pull off the victory without their two star wideouts. But if the Titans end up falling to the Jets, I'd steer clear of any Tom Brady talk during the postgame presser.
