In the latest news of combat sports, UFC president Dana White made sure his opinion on Jake Paul was clear while having a conversation with the legendary Mike Tyson. Paul is set to fight MMA fighter Ben Askren on April 17th, where the two will battle it out in a boxing match.

While being a guest on Tyson's podcast, Dana White made it clear that he doesn't think Paul stands a chance against Askren. And why would he? Askren has been involved with MMA since 2009, whereas Jake Paul has only been boxing since 2018. Dana White wants to put his money where his mouth is, per MMA Junkie.

“He talks a lot of sh*t,” UFC president Dana White said on the “Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson” podcast. “We're going to find out. I hope you can bet on this thing because I'll f*cking bet a million dollars that he loses this f*cking fight. A million dollars that he loses this fight.”

At the end of the day, Jake Paul will have a fighter's chance. Askren has a major wrestling background, which he used in most of his UFC and MMA fights. He's not a stand-up fighter, which is where boxing focuses on. Ben Askren may have over a decade of experience, but boxing is his weakness.

You have to give Jake Paul credit though. He's inexperienced but he's been doing a great job of promoting these fights. However, it's hard to tell if the Paul brothers really want to become professional boxers, or if this is their last-ditch effort in being famous. We'll see what happens between Jake Paul and Ben Askren on April 17th.
