UFC president Dana White has reopened the greatest of all time talks and hailed Anderson Silva on top of everybody else across all combat sports.

Anderson Silva’s stunning KO win over his fellow UFC legend Tito Ortiz has got both the MMA and boxing world buzzing. Among the latest to heaped praise on the Brazilian is UFC boss Dana White.

According to White, Silva did a tremendous job of knocking out Tito Ortiz in just “40 seconds,” something he believes “The Huntington Beach Bad Body” deserved.

Because of the sensational win, White pointed out that the sport’s GOAT list should be updated with Silva now being the greatest of them all.

“Anderson Silva, we honestly need to start talking again about this guy as the GOAT,” White recently told MMA Junkie. “Not Tito because he knocked Tito out in 40 f—–g seconds, but you know what, he did to Tito exactly what should be done to Tito. Knocking Tito out in 40 seconds is what should have happened in that fight. Anderson Silva beat [Julio Cezar] Chavez Jr. at 46 years old. He now left this sport, which he was considered one of the greatest of all time, possibly even the greatest of all time, goes out, beats Chavez Jr. in a boxing match, and knocks Tito out in 40 seconds.”

“Anderson Silva might actually be the GOAT of combat sports,” he added. “It’ll be interesting to see what he does next.”

Silva has found a new lease on life with boxing. At 46, the former UFC middleweight champion is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he’s even eyeing a boxing match against another former UFC champ Georges St-Pierre.
