UFC star Conor McGregor made a shocking revelation involving Khabib Nurmagomedov in his response to Khamzat Chimaev's call out on social media.

Despite being title-less, McGregor is still one of the most called out fighters in the UFC at present. Michael Chandler had previously made his pitch for a showdown with “The Notorious” and just recently, lightweight sensation Khamzat Chimaev has joined the party.

Chimaev, who had just defeated Jingliang Li at UFC 267, lured McGregor to agree to a “Big drama show.” It didn't take long for the former two-division UFC champion to answer back.

As expected, McGregor does his thing once again and apart from just acknowledging Chimaev's challenge, he also came up with a bizarre claim stating that his new challenger once offered to help him “beat up the little scared pigeon b**ch” Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“Bratha, no problem,” McGregor wrote in a since-deleted tweet via Sportskeeda. “I appreciate you reaching out to the team in 2018 to come and help me beat up the little scared pigeon b**ch. Chechnya knows! F**k those eagles mma pu****s, we are Akhmat MMA! Smash them up we will! Let’s go! The Mac and Akhmat! We take no s**t! Never peace.”

McGregor's claim is hard to believe indeed as Chimaev has been vocal about his admiration towards Nurmagomedov's work. In fact, he even confessed to flying to Ireland in the hope to beat up McGregor even “in the streets” for disrespecting “The Eagle.”

“I was thinking that I would catch him [McGregor] in the streets or at the gym and beat him up,” Chimaev said via Talksport. “This is what he deserved.”
