UFC lightweight star Dustin Poirier has sent his warm Merry Christmas to everyone in the sport except from three fighters.

Indeed, Christmas is a very special day even in the sporting world. In fact, even the toughest UFC fighters take a their gloves off to wear a Santa hat or Christmas sweater on this day. Among them was Dustin Poirier.

Sending out some love on social media, Poirier wished “everyone” a happy holiday but he emphasized that top UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington as well as his lightweight rivals Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz are not getting any of it.

“Merry Christmas to everyone!!… except Nathaniel, Conor and Colby but everyone else hope you have a great day!!” Poirier wrote on Twitter.

Savage indeed but for those who don't know, Poirier is not in good terms with the three aforementioned UFC stars in and outside the octagon.

It can be recalled that last month, Covington took a shot at Poirier, claiming “The Diamond” was intentionally cutting weight in the hope to dominate fighters naturally lighter than him.

“I remember that Louisiana swamp trash Dustin Soyrier [Poirier], we used to step on the scale at our old gym all the time and he weighed bigger than me. I was, like 182, he’d be like 185-188. So, he’s a bigger guy than me,” Covington claimed via Lowkick MMA.

“I’m not scared to fight guys at my weight,” he continued. “He’s obviously scared to fight guys his weight. He has to cut all this weight to feel like he has an advantage over guys.”

As for McGregor and Diaz, the pair needed no further introduction as there has always been bad blood between them and Poirier.
