How Derek Brunson wins the fight
Anytime Brunson enters the octagon it's must-watch television. He's a phenomenal athlete that's dangerous on his feet, as 11 of his 22 wins have come via KO/TKO. Brunson has an underrated ground game as well. He doesn't use it often, but he's able to hold his own whenever the fight goes to the mat. Even so, look for Brunson to stand and bang as this matchup is right in his wheelhouse.
He enters this UFC matchup with a slight height and reach advantage. The jab will be his best friend, but Brunson should include some leg kicks as well. Patience is the key to victory here, as Derek Brunson should take his time and pick his opponent apart from a distance. If he can do that, Till should open up and Brunson can finish him off with a knockout.
How Darren Till wins the fight
“The Gorilla” Darren Till hasn't quite been the same since losing his title shot to Tyron Woodley in 2018. He's hit a string of bad luck, suffering losses from Jorge Masvidal and Robert Whittaker. This is Till's first appearance since July 2020 and he needs a win to remain amongst the UFC's best.
For that reason, Till is likely to come out aggressive. He won't be looking for any takedowns, as keeping it on the feet gives him his best chances. Getting inside of his opponent's guard is the best strategy in this Middleweight matchup. Look for Darren Till to push the pace as he'll attempt to control the cage and put his opponent's back against the fence. If he can do that, Till's chances to win improve greatly.

This UFC fight has the makings to be an all-out war. Neither of these guys are likely to take it to the ground. With both Brunson and Till looking to stand and bang, this fight has the potential to be the fight of the year. Brunson will keep his distance while Till will keep it close.
