It seems everyone was talking about the return of Conor McGregor to the UFC except for the Irishman himself. The former two-division champion was present at Bellator 275 where he revealed what's next.
Conor McGregor made it clear that he wants a title shot next. Even if it seems like Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje are the next UFC lightweight title fight.

Maybe if the man (Charles Oliveira) is wise you will give it a month or two,” McGregor said to Severe MMA at Bellator 275. “July seems okay for me, I can’t say too early, but if I’m sparring April, May, June, July. I could slap the head of most of these guys by the end of April, you know what I’m saying. My first spar could be a fight.”
The Irish UFC fighter wants his respect when he returns to the cage and that includes getting a title shot next. Conor McGregor believes he brings many skills to the cage that people aren't giving him credit for.
“It’s about time this game gives me respect for my different styles of fighting, my shots downward, my shots upward… People are going to give me my respect,” McGregor added.
It's not clear exactly when Conor McGregor will actually be able to make his big return to the UFC. July appears to be the date that everyone is targeting next for his return. A title shot currently seems unlikely for him though.
