Henry Cejudo appears to finally be making a comeback to the UFC and there is one person that actually wants to fight him. His former opponent Dominick Cruz recently spoke out about wanting to fight him next.

Dominick Cruz was not happy with the stoppage in the original fight but he eventually moved on. Now that Henry Cejudo's back in the UFC, a rematch could make a lot of sense for him next.

“Look at all of these people who believe they deserve something,” Cruz told The Schmo. “You’ll never hear me say I deserve anything. I’m responsible for everything I create. So, if I don’t get the shot, I don’t get the shot. I’m beating the people I need to beat. I’m on a two-fight win streak.

“We’re naming people who haven’t even been in the USADA testing pool for over a year,” Cruz referenced Cejudo. “So people who have been out of the USADA testing pool— why are they even in the debate for a title? That doesn’t make any sense to me. So the only people in a debate for a title are the people who have been actively putting their careers on the line. That’s everybody who has been in the division actively.

“If you haven’t been active in the division, get to the back of the line, period.”

Dominick Cruz made sure to clear the air and confirmed that there was no beef with Henry Cejudo. The former UFC bantamweight champion just wants big fights on his way back to the title.

“The bottom line is you gotta keep competing. Nobody deserves any of these titles. You have to earn them. I’ve earned those things. And so I gotta keep adding to the things that I’ve done and I wanna compete against the best.

“I wanna move up, give me some somebody in the top five,” UFC bantamweight Cruz continued. “Give me an Aldo. Give me a Petr Yan. Give me an Aljamain Sterling. You know what? Give me the rematch with Cejudo when he gets his shit together. I don’t care. Like let me be the first person he faces till he gets right back in the division. If he wants, I got no beef with him.”
