Joanna Jedrzejczyk has made it very clear that she is not a fan of Colby Covington heading into his fight at UFC 272. The former strawweight champion recently went off on him and reminded him that he's not Conor McGregor.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk was recently on MMA Fighting’s The Fighter vs. The Writer podcast, where she went off on Colby Covington for trying to be like Conor McGregor. The UFC strawweight did not appreciate the things he said in the past about the Irishman.

“The worst thing about Colby, most of the things he said [and] said he’s done isn’t true. The way he was acting after he won the interim belt, like all the old man opening the door for him, him having a driver, these girls, these bitches around him, walking to our American Top Team. It wasn’t true. Why are you acting like Conor McGregor [and then] saying bad things about Conor McGregor? There is only one Conor McGregor.

“So don’t call names on him and you’re trying to act like him. You have empty pockets, and you’re trying to act like a king. You can’t do these things. You can’t tell lies.”

Colby Covington has been putting on a character similar to something you would see in pro wrestling. He has accepted the heel role and the UFC welterweight is embracing all of the attention.

He has clearly left a negative impact on Joanna Jedrzejczyk as she has said many negative things about him in the lead up to UFC 272. There is very little chance the two will ever resolve their issues.
