The entire UFC world is backing Cain Velasquez right now as the former Heavyweight champion sits in jail. He's facing felony charges after attempting to murder a man who molested a relative. Many support Velasquez as they understand his actions. Hall of Fame legend Chuck Liddell weighs in on the situation, as he'd like to see the former champ released.

According to TMZ, “Chuck Liddell clearly believes Velasquez should be out of jail by now (and) a judge needs to give him bond ASAP.” The court system is confusing, as we see many people receive bond who arguably don't deserve it. Liddell believes that's the case, as he states, “It's so funny how easy it is to get out — they're letting all these crazy people out. But you have a problem with letting him out? I don't know.” For now, UFC legend Cain Velasquez remains in jail while facing serious felonies.

The next hearing takes place on June 10. Cain Velasquez will have to remain in jail until that moment at the very least. Although he committed serious crimes, the UFC world continues to support him during these troubling times. “Liddell went on to say, if all of the allegations are true, he doesn't blame Velasquez one bit for it all — obviously, a big reason why he thinks the 40-year-old should get bond,” per TMZ.
