It is the start of week nine in the UFL as the St. Louis Battlehawks face the Arlington Renegades. It is time to continue our UFL odds series with a Battlehawks-Renegades prediction and pick.

With just two weeks left to go in the regular season, the Battlehawks have secured a playoff spot, and now will be looking to snag the top spot in the XFL conference. They are 6-2 on the year. Two weeks ago they had their second loss of the year, falling to the undefeated Birmingham Stallions. They would rebound last week to beat the DC Defenders 26-21.

Meanwhile, the Renegades are trying to not finish as the worst team in the UFL this year. They are just 1-7 on the year, with their first win of the year coming in week seven. They would dominate the Memphis Showboats on their way to a 47-23 win. Last week, they could not find that success again, falling to the San Antonio Brahama 20-15.

Final Battlehawks-Renegades Prediction & Pick

The Renegades have been solid on offense this year, the defense has been bad. The weak part of the Battlehawk's defense has been the run defense, but the Renegades will not be able to exploit that. If AJ McCarron is back, it should be an easy win for the Battlehawks. If he is out, expect it to be a close game, but the Battlehawks are still too much for the Renegades in this one.
