Valorant is releasing its latest update, patch 8.10, before the month ends. This will be the last patch before the much-anticipated Valorant Patch 8.11, which will introduce a new map and a few more changes. Here is everything you need to know about this latest update.

Valorant 8.10 Patch Notes – May 29, 2024

Jo-Ellen Aragon, Valorant's community manager, revealed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the Valorant Patch Notes 8.10 will be dropping on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Moving on, here is a comprehensive breakdown of the 8.10 Patch for Valorant.

Progression Updates

The progression updates include a new Basic Training Event aimed at improving the new player experience. The Welcome Contract for new players has been revamped with clearer missions and milestones. This makes new players understand and navigate the game easier.

Additionally, the Basic Training Event is similar to other in-game events, allowing players to track their progress, understand their goals, and complete milestones to earn rewards, thereby helping new players get a good start in Valorant.

For existing players, those who have already completed the Welcome Contract will not see the Basic Training Event, as they have already earned all the rewards.

However, players who have partially completed the Welcome Contract will have their progress carried over to the Basic Training Event. As a result, they can continue earning XP toward their Battlepass as they complete the event.

Bug Fixes – Agent

Several important bug fixes have been implemented for agents. Firstly, for Cypher, an issue was fixed where shots fired immediately after exiting his Spycam (E) would bypass the weapon’s raise animation and consequently not deal damage. Now, the weapon raise animation is played for its full duration to ensure proper gameplay mechanics.

Additionally, for Clove, an issue was addressed where the timer for her Pick-Me-Up (C) ability could be restarted, giving Clove more time than intended to activate the ability. This fix ensures that the ability's timer now functions as intended.

Overall, this is all the information we have regarding the Valorant 8.10 update. For now, we are looking forward to the upcoming big update which is due in a couple of weeks!
