With League of LegendsSentinel of the Light event coming tomorrow, both VALORANT and LoL are collaborating with each one for the first time. Riot is obviously hyping up their MOBA’s event by bringing in Ruination of Runeterra inspired skins to their tactical shooter game.

The upcoming weapon cosmetics in VALORANT, showcased by HITSCAN have mentioned that the skins are called “Ruination”. The set of weapons included in the Ruination series are Phantom, Guardian, Spectre, Ghost, and the Melee. Most notably, there are two levels for the Ruination Melee. Level 1 is basically the skin’s broken form whilst Level 2 is the restored form flaunting a crystalline light.

Other than the skin’s name and form, Riot didn’t necessarily include any other elements that would heavily reference League of Legends‘ lore. These cosmetics have been designed for VALORANT players solely. If, by any chance, you do play both games developed by Riot, then the Ruination set is a cool easter egg for League players who play VALORANT.

However, the easter eggs don’t stop there. The Ruined King Viego himself has managed to slip his way through the game – but not in the way that you think. Viego is making an appearance in the game as a Player Card. Not only that, the unifying symbol of Ruination on Viego’s chest is coming as a spray, and his wedding ring will accompany the weapons as a buddy.

There isn’t any official announcement yet regarding the Ruination set’s release date. However, since Sentinel of the Light will launch on July 8, we have a good feeling that these cosmetics are coming very soon.
