Memphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas is not the type of guy who just lets things slide. The slotman from Lithuania proved that in the their 124-110 victory over the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center on Sunday.

While getting dunked on is usually a normal occurrence for even the NBA's best shot-blockers, Valanciunas didn't take too kindly with Kings forward Chimezie Metu's extracurricular activities following a big slam.

Metu hung on the rim after posterizing Valanciunas because he had nowhere to land after the play. The Grizzlies center, however, felt disrespected by the act and reacted in a violent way, hooking Metu's leg and dragged him mid-air, causing the Kings' youngster to fall on his back.

Valanciunas, who already sat out a few games due to COVID-19 protocols, escaped ejection after the dangerous play and was only warranted with a technical foul. This allowed him to stay in the game and continue the pettiness moments later.

Valanciunas had a dunk of his own against Metu and of course, the Grizzlies pivot made sure to unnecessarily hang on to the rim too and have his legs above the shoulders of a Kings defender. Unfortunately for Corey Joseph, he was the one who got caught up in Valanciunas' revenge.
