After winning the Heisman Trophy just last season, the No. 17 ranked Louisville Cardinals are hoping Lamar Jackson is up to duplicate last year's results.

The quarterback is looking to become only the second two-time winner in the history of the prestigious award.

For what it is worth, he is doing his best on Saturday to make that happen. In that above clip, during Saturday’s game at North Carolina, Jackson showed off some of the skill that resulted in his becoming Louisville’s first Heisman winner in the first place.

Jackson hit Jaylen Smith for a 75-yard touchdown pass during the second quarter, making the pass after showing off some good footwork to avoid the pass rush.

Fully expect more crazy hype to come with Lamar Jackson for the rest of the season. While other quarterbacks in the country are also getting some national pub, it is Jackson who usually has the best and most consistent games. It also doesn't hurt that he's as fun a football player to watch as there is in the entire country.

Barring some sort of injury, or another unforeseen calamity, it is likely he will find himself at the Heisman Trophy ceremony at the end of this season. As interesting to follow will be Jackson's NFL Draft prospects.
