Steve Smith Sr. doesn’t think too highly of Terrell Suggs’ appearance.

Prior to the Saturday Night Football battle between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers, Smith Sr. said on the air that Suggs is “one of the ugliest guys in the league.”

But it sounds like he meant it in the most respectful way possible.

At the beginning of the video, and just before the harsh comment, Smith Sr. did mention all of the unique things that make Suggs the traditional NFL linebacker he is, commending him on his preparation through the week and planning against opposing teams and quarterbacks.

Suggs is having another quality year for Baltimore, currently sitting with seven sacks, 24 solo tackles, and 15 QB hits.

At age 36, he could be heading into NFL free agency this offseason for the first time in his 16-year career with the purple and black.

Smith Sr., who spent his final three seasons with Suggs and the Ravens, has earned the right to boast some playful comments. He hauled in 195 catches, 2,534 yards and 14 touchdowns in his tenure with the team.

Suggs and Smith are both poised at Hall Of Fame inductions sometime down the road for what they’ve accomplished in their illustrious careers.

Given the former teammates’ doggish reputations, the jab from Smith Sr. likely shouldn’t hurt T-Sizzle’s feelings too badly.

The Ravens stomped on the Chargers in LA 22-10 keeping their playoff hopes in sight at 9-6, with Lamar Jackson looking well-suited as the starting play-caller.
