The Minnesota Vikings and specifically head coach Mike Zimmer find themselves currently caught up in a massive debacle.
Minnesota's quarterback room was hit with a Covid outbreak that has landed Kirk Cousins and others on the reserve/Covid-19 list. To really pile on the parade for the Vikings, their vaccination numbers are currently the worst in the entire NFL.
The Vikings have the lowest vaccination rate in the league at 70% in process and 64.5% fully vaccinated.

Zimmer has voiced his frustrations with his Vikings players about this in a big way. And now, team owner Mark Wilf has stepped into the chat as well.
Asked about Kirk Cousins vaccination status Mark Wilf said conversations will be with all the team trying to educate them

Via ESPN, Zimmer doesn't think he'll be able to convince many of those on the Vikings that aren't vaccinated.
“I just feel like we're going to have guys miss games,” Zimmer said. “There are so many cases going on right now. We're going to have guys miss some games and we have to be prepared for it…I talked to the team, and like I said before, there are quite a few guys that are just against it,” Zimmer said. “I'm not going to be able to change their mind, so, it's like half the country, I guess.”
Cousins had mad waves last year when he said, “If I die I die,” when asked about the possibility of testing positive at some point for Covid-19.
Perhaps the best the Vikings can do at this point is what their plan is; to talk and try to further educate those who remain unvaccinated on the team.
