The Golden State Warriors have missed the playoffs the past two years. Much of this has to do with absence of a sharpshooter by the name of Klay Thompson.

Even though he's known for his shooting excellence, Thompson is much more than just a shooter. The NBA fans who've enjoyed the massive decline of the Warriors might need a little reminder about who the three-time champion is.

Over the past two years, while recovering from injury, Thompson has picked up many hobbies to keep a healthy mind. He often can be seen on Instagram live cruising around on his boat with teammates, friends, or his dog Rocco. His videos often show his calm and funny sense of humor, which matches his demeanor when he's on the court.

When Thompson is torching opponents, he will give it to them verbally as well. Although his facial expressions don't change much, he can get under someone's skin. Sometimes with chirping but usually by knocking down threes in an opponent's face.

Nothing speaks more volume than Thompson's game itself. The Splash Brother has some of the most outstanding performances in Warriors history. Honestly, an arduous task to do in an organization that's had names like Stephen Curry, Wilt Chamberlain, Kevin Durant, and Rick Barry.

Klay Thompson has created many iconic memories. One of his most notable memories is when he scored a career-high 60 points on 11 dribbles. It's insane to think someone could score that much without dribbling the basketball, but he did it. In only 29 minutes of play, he was 21-for-33 from the field and 8-for-14 from three. His dominant play led to a 142-106 blowout over the Indiana Pacers inside the Oracle Arena.

Like we mentioned earlier, Klay Thompson doesn't need to dribble much to get going. All he needs is a good pass, and he will find a way to get open. Thompson might not be the fastest player, but his movement without the ball is equal to or better than his fellow Splash Brother Stephen Curry.

His ability to continuously run around screens, set picks, and never stop moving makes him a nightmare to defend. It often gets other teammates open if you over guard him, and other teammates could mean a clear shot for Curry. You know, the greatest shooter of all time.

If you are not a Warriors fan, it might be wise to end the jokes. The return of Klay Thompson is near, and things are going to get very scary for the rest of the league. A healthy Thompson could very well have the Warriors right back in NBA Finals discussions.
