The Golden State Warriors are 9-11 on the season and preparing for a Wednesday matchup with the six-win Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET.

Recently the Warriors lost a key game to the Clippers prompting a strong Kawhi Leonard take on locking up the Dubs. The Warriors plummeted all the way to 19th in the latest NBA Power Rankings, behind the Los Angeles Clippers and in front of the Houston Rockets.

On Monday, Top 75 All-Time NBA player Kevin Garnett offered his prescription for the Dubs in pursuit of another NBA title. The odds of Golden State winning it all this year seem infinitesimal, but Garnett does appear to believe that the opportunity is there for GM Mike Dunleavy's team to make a splash in the trade market.

Pierce, Garnett Debate Dubs Chances

Garnett sat down with Paul Pierce as the two NBA legends discussed the current state of Golden State's team.

Pierce said that Golden State is “barely” a playoff team now and needs to make important moves, to which Garnett appeared to agree.

“Send Klay to Philadelphia,” one fan said in the comments section with a smiley face wearing shades emoji.

Warriors Must Improve in the Shooting Department

The Warriors' young talent has been average at best for the most part this season while Thompson has shown disconcerting signs at the shooting guard position and Curry has struggled to make up for the lack of support he has received from his teammates.

The Warriors are currently 12th in the NBA in scoring and 13th in three-point shooting percentages. Those numbers are solid, but not championship worthy stat lines for a team that knows a thing or two about making a run for the top spot in the NBA.
