It wasn't pretty, but the Golden State Warriors found a way to squeak past the Miami Heat 120-118 behind the three players who will represent the team in the All-Star Game. Kevin Durant scored 39 points, grabbed six rebounds, and had two assists while the backcourt duo of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry had 29 and 25 points, respectively, while shooting a combined 11 three-pointers in the game. The trio combined for 93 points against Miami and the Dubs have been undefeated when they reach that mark.

The Warriors looked out of sync early, allowing the Heat to build a 26-7 lead in the first quarter. However, they kept their composure and soon played like the champions that they are.
Miami can't be overlooked though, as they pushed the Warriors' backs against the wall. Dwyane Wade stepped up and gave the Heat the lead, 116-115, by scoring off a fastbreak layup after blocking Durant. This sequence was followed up with an easy dunk by Justice Winslow off the inbound.
Durant responded by hitting a clutch three with less than 40 seconds left to tie the game up at 118.
Miami then fouled the Warriors' DeMarcus Cousins with less than ten seconds left. He then calmly sank both of his free throws, giving the Dubs the win.
Durant, Thompson, and Curry are expected to help the Warriors claim their third straight title this season, and fans can expect them to take their games to the next level once the postseason battles begin.
The win against Miami just proves that the Warriors are ready to make a deep run in the playoffs, with the goal of hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy this June.
