Andre Iguodala is best known for his impressive skill set on the court. From the way he plays defense to scoring on clutch plays, he has made a name for himself as one of the better two-way players in the league today. However, there’s one nickname he’s being called that he is not a fan of, and he recently made the 2K18 team know about it.

The Golden State Warriors swingman took to his Twitter account to send Ronnie2K a message asking to remove “Iggy” from his jersey in the video game. He replied by apologizing to Iguodala and promised it will be taken out soon.

While most of the reactions from players about the game are how unhappy they are with the ratings given to them, Iguodala had a unique one, as he called them out for the nickname used. He has made it clear in the past that he only allows his teammates, family, and friends to call him that as they are the ones who know him well enough.

With the release of the game fast approaching, the former Finals MVP may have made his request known just in time for Ronnie2K and his team to make the necessary adjustments ahead of Sept. 19. The good news for him is he was promised that it will be fixed, and it can be expected that it won’t be there once the highly anticipated release date of the video game comes.
