Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been cooking early this season, dropping a cool 50 points against the Atlanta Hawks in their last game. Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala, who's been playing with Curry for years now, once again had a front-row seat to the latest scoring onslaught of the two-time MVP.

Afterward, Iguodala took to Twitter to compliment Curry, while also appearing to take a swipe at WNBA fans.

A little confused? Last year, Iguodala complimented then-Washington Mystics guard Aerial Powers after an impressive outing. The Warriors forward, however, just mentioned her number on his tweet and didn't include her name. Powers took exception to it and called out the former NBA Finals MVP for not “putting respect” on her name.

As expected, numerous WNBA fans sided with Powers, who's now with the Minnesota Lynx, and called out Iguodala for his supposed lack of respect. The high-flying wingman, however, refused to apologize and simply brushed off the criticisms.

Well, clearly, it looks like Iguodala hasn't forgotten about the incident. He's always been one of the smartest guys in the NBA, and his veiled shot at WNBA fans (or maybe even Powers herself) was quite clever, to be honest.

Curry has indeed been really nice for the Warriors, leading the team to an NBA-best 9-1 win-loss slate. He's had a lot of help from Andre Iguodala, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins but there's no denying that the sharpshooting guard has been on another level.

The Warriors will next face the not-so-nice Minnesota Timberwolves this Wednesday.
