The Golden State Warriors have been to the finals four years in a row and have won three championships over that span, so you can understand how they would get bored over the course of the regular season.

Count Andrew Bogut—now back in the Bay—as someone who gets the struggle the Warriors are feeling after multiple playoff runs, as he himself was part of two of them before being dealt to make room for Kevin Durant during the summer of 2016:

“It’s hard, it’s the third year of a three-peat for a lot of these guys,” Bogut said, according to Tim Kawakami of The Athletic. “So it’s the dog days of the season, just to get to the finish line and be healthy for the playoffs. I can see why it does become a bit of a mental strain sometimes.”

The Warriors have certainly taken their share of lumps this season.

Whether it's puzzling losses to inferior competition like the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns or a 33-point home beatdown at the hands of the Boston Celtics, Golden State has had its fair share of low points throughout the 2018-19 campaign, but all that really matters is that the Dubs are ready for the playoffs.

The Warriors have won four of their last five games, most recently thumping the Indiana Pacers by 23 points in Bogut's return to Oracle Arena on Thursday night.

Golden State, which holds the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference standings, will play host to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening.
