As expected, veteran Andrew Bogut will start at center for the Golden State Warriors moving forward.

All-Star big man DeMarcus Cousins tore his left quad in Game 2 and will likely miss the rest of the postseason.

Bogut is in his second stint with the Warriors. He was part of the 2015 team which won the championship over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

Bogut signed with the Warriors on March 6 after finishing his season in Australia. The former No. 1 overall pick appeared in 11 regular season games with the Dubs and averaged 3.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 50.0 percent from the field.

Golden State doesn't need to run any plays on offense for Bogut. He does most of his damage on alley-oops and putback dunks. The 34-year-old is a tremendous passer and provides rim protection for the Warriors. Obviously, the team would rather have Cousins out there since he's an elite scorer and rebounder, but this is exactly why the Warriors signed Bogut — to provide an insurance policy for Boogie.

Bogut has six points and 10 rebounds so far in the series against the Clippers. The Dubs and Clippers are tied at 1-1, with Games 3 and 4 taking place in Los Angeles.
