The Golden State Warriors failed to capture that elusive three-peat after losing the 2019 NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors in six games.

After the buzzer sounded, many said that the Golden State dynasty is finally over. However, star forward Draymond Green believes they aren't done yet and vows that they will be back:

The Warriors still fought valiantly despite being undermanned and playing hobbled for the entire Finals.

Kevin Durant did not play until Game 5 and unfortunately ruptured his Achilles as he heroically attempted to help save the Warriors' title hopes.

With Durant already sidelined, the Warriors suffered another big blow in Game 6 as Klay Thompson went down with a knee injury late in the third quarter. The team later announced that the All-Star sniper, who had 30 points at the time of his exit, had torn his ACL.

With this, the near future is looking bleak for Golden State.

Durant has already been ruled out for the entire 2019-20 season, while Thompson is looking at his own lengthy recovery period from his ACL tear.

Both Durant and Thompson are free agemts this offseason, and it's unclear whether this iteration of the Warriors is still intact next season.

Durant has been clouded with several free-agency rumors, and it appears some teams are still willing to sign the All-NBA forward despite his catastrophic injury. Thompson, on the other hand, has been rumored to stick around with the Warriors.

There's no guessing what the Warriors' plans are for Durant and Thompson considering what happened to them in the Finals. In the same way, nobody knows what Thompson, and especially Durant, are going to do this summer.

What's sure is that the Warriors would be without the two them for the most part of the 2019-20 season, even if they do get to retain both of them.
