The Golden State Warriors will test their 3-0 record on Tuesday against a winless OKC Thunder squad in Oklahoma. For Dubs star Draymond Green, the trip to OKC has brought back a few fond memories from past encounters.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson's past heroics were the first things that came to mind for Green, but it appears that what stood out for him the most centered around Kevin Durant's first game back in his former stomping ground after making the shock move to the Warriors in 2016:

“Steph hitting that shot … was incredible,” the Warriors star told The Athletic's Anthony Slater (h/t Ali Thanwalla of NBC Sports). “Klay's Game 6 was incredible. [Kevin Durant's] first game back here, that s–t was fun. Crazy. That was fun. I'm not sure how fun it was for KD but it was definitely fun for me.

“It was incredible by the end of the night. Man, we were walking in the hotel at 4 a.m. with police security. That's crazy. We were on [ESPN's] SportsCenter live walking into the hotel at 4 a.m. That was sick. That was a good memory.”

OKC fans did not exactly take Kevin Durant's decision to join the Warriors very well and they made sure to let him know the moment he returned. It felt like KD was public enemy No. 1 and while the former Thunder superstar may not have enjoyed the hostility, Green definitely had a lot of fun with that.

Despite their infamous on-court blow-up that eventually led to Durant walking away from the Warriors, there's also no denying that he formed quite a bond with Green during his time with the Dubs. For his part, it's also clear that Green has nothing but love for his former teammate.
