The injury bug has spread like wildfire throughout the Golden State Warriors. Asked about the epidemic, Draymond Green didn't really have much to say and just shrugged off their bad luck to “s–t happens,” via Nick Friedell of ESPN.

The latest addition the Warriors loaded injury list is All-Star guard D'Angelo Russell. The former no. 2 overall pick exited the third quarter of last night's game against the Boston Celtics nursing his right hand.

D-Lo reportedly suffered a sprained right thumb. While X-rays on his thumb were reportedly negative, Russell will still undergo MRI for further testing.

Prior to Russell, Green had an injury of his own. The former Defensive Player of the Year missed five straight games due to a torn ligament on his finger. Russell, likewise, just recently returned from a sprained ankle.

Of course, we all know Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are already set to miss significant amounts of time with their respective long-term injuries.

Apart from the those already mentioned, guard Damion Lee also joined the injured list after he suffered a non-displaced fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his right hand. Likewise, Kevon Looney, Jacob Evans, and Alen Smailagic are all reportedly set to miss at least the Warriors next three contests, per the San Francisco Chronicle.

It seems like Golden State's tough luck with injuries has spilled over this season. With all their wounded bodies on the sidelines, it makes sense for them to give more run to their younger guys such as Eric Paschall and Jordan Poole, that is if they don't go down with injuries as well.
