Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green ripped President Donald Trump for saying the NBA is becoming too political and that the TV ratings are down.

Green, who is now a CNN contributor, called Trump “a master manipulator,” per Sopan Deb of the New York Times.

Draymond Green and the Warriors have never shied away from calling out Donald Trump. The team didn't go to the White House after winning the title in 2017 and 2018 and Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr have routinely ripped the Commander in Chief.

Trump isn't a fan of people kneeling during the national anthem. He stopped watching games after players decided to kneel during the anthem at Walt Disney World.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James confidently spoke for the entire NBA by saying no one cares if Trump watches basketball or not.

Green and the Warriors aren't at Disney World since they had the worst record in the NBA before the season was suspended in March. The three-time champion and former Defensive Player of the Year has been doing some side work on TNT during the playoffs and now he's joining the CNN desk.

Now 30 years old, Draymond Green has career averages of 9.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists with the Warriors. The three-time All-Star, along with Curry and Klay Thompson, will be motivated to prove the naysayers wrong next season when Golden State is healthy.
