Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green will miss his third consecutive game on Monday against the Oklahoma City

Green is still recovering from his heel injury.

The Warriors are just 3-14 on the season. They have the worst record in the NBA.

In 10 games this season for the Warriors, Green is averaging 8.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists. He's shooting 37.9 percent from the field, 26.7 percent from beyond the arc and 76.5 percent from the free-throw line.

It's going to be a long season for the Warriors. Superstar point guard Stephen Curry is out with a broken hand, Klay Thompson has yet to play due to his ACL tear and Green has been banged up as has newcomer D'Angelo Russell.

The Dubs are on their way to missing the playoffs this season. Green, Curry and Thompson could use the rest. The three All-Stars have played in five straight Finals. All of that wear-and-tear can't be good for the legs, so maybe this season is a blessing in disguise for the Warriors.

Green signed a $100 million extension with the Warriors this offseason. He reportedly has nearly $50 million in “advance payments” in his new contract. The Warriors have $129 million and $138 million committed to their four max players of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, respectively.
