There appears to be some brewing beef between Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves. KAT recently took a random shot at Los Angeles Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook and apparently, Green did not like it at all.
The Dubs star caught wind of Towns' rather unsavory comments about Westbrook's alleged stat-chasing ways and Green did not hesitate to take an unfiltered shot at KAT (h/t Hoop Central on Twitter):
This is definitely not the first time we have heard this type of criticism about Westbrook and Towns is simply stating what many believe to be true. Nevertheless, Green clearly thinks that KAT's comments were uncalled for as he played the NBA brotherhood card on the Timberwolves big man. In retaliation, the Warriors star reminded Towns about himself being somewhat of a stat-chaser as well.
It remains to be seen if Towns will respond to Green's callout, but whatever the case may be, Dray has certainly made his point here. Green is one of the most outspoken players in the league and for Karl-Anthony Towns, it would probably be best for him to try and steer clear of any beef with the Warriors stud.
