With this year’s Super Bowl happening on Sunday, more and more fans are starting to feel the fever that only the NFL’s championship game can provide. That includes professional athletes from different sports who have made it known via their social media accounts who they will be rooting for.

The latest one to make his pick known is Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green. Being friends with defensive end Brandon Graham, he wants that the Philadelphia Eagles to win on the night. He then added, via Mark Medina of The Mercury News, that he hopes Tom Brady loses, as he is an alum of Michigan.

Green is loud and proud about playing for Michigan State in his NCAA days, which explains why he still sees the rivalry of Brady and his alma mater even in the pros. It will be very interesting to see how the Eagles and New England Patriots compete against each other especially with the title on the line. It can be expected that stars from different sports and pro leagues will all be tuned in on the night cheering for the teams they want to win.

The Patriots are heavily-favored to win their second consecutive Super Bowl, having completed an epic come-from-behind victory in the 51st iteration of the event just last year. However, the Eagles are no pushovers by any means and will surely be fired up to win knowing that the whole of Philadelphia, as well as fans like Green, all want them to pull off the upset.
