The Golden State Warriors came away with a 120-116 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at Oracle Arena on Saturday night, and in that win, Warriors big man Draymond Green came away very impressed with Mavs rookie Luka Doncic.

Doncic finished with 19 points and five assists, going 7-of-15 from the floor and making three 3-pointers in what was actually a rather modest night for him, but Green obviously loved what he saw.

On the year, Doncic is averaging 18.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.2 steals over 32.4 minutes per game while shooting 43.4 percent from the floor, 36.2 percent from three-point range, and 76.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The 19-year-old, who came over from Slovenia, was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the third overall pick of the NBA Draft back in June, but the Hawks then traded him to the Mavs for Trae Young.

Is it too soon to say that Atlanta is going to regret making that trade?

No disrespect to Young, who may end up having a good career, but Luka Doncic truly looks special.

The kid can do pretty much everything out there offensively, and that was on full display against the Warriors, especially in the second half when he beat Golden State's Jonas Jerebko off the dribble and then threw down a dunk on the big man.
