The Golden State Warriors have gotten lucky that they have played an easier part of their schedule with all the injuries they have suffered, but this stretch has really been good for at least one of the Warriors — Quinn Cook.

Cook is on a two-way contract which means he can spend up to 45 days on the roster during the regular season, but Draymond Green thinks that isn't enough. He thinks that Cook needs to have a spot on the postseason roster because of how well he has played, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Draymond Green on Quinn Cook: “I sit here and I watch teams play and wonder ‘How is Quinn Cook a two-way player?' You got guys in the league that can't dribble with their left hand.”

Is he forcing his way onto the playoff roster?
“I think he is”

Cook has gotten the start the last few nights because of the ankle injury that has forced Stephen Curry to miss the last couple of weeks.

In Saturday night's game against the Phoenix Suns, Cook played 40 minutes putting up 28 points, four rebounds, and four assists.

He flashed his ability to pass, drive, and score during the game and with the way he is playing, it looks like he should be on an NBA roster next year on a fully-guaranteed contract.

Green isn't the only guy giving the praises to Cook though, Steve Kerr is also impressed with the way his rookie guard has played:

“He's proven that he can compete at this level, the last couple games, you're seeing what he can do. He's a great shooter. We've known that.”

The Warriors haven't discussed publically if they are thinking about keeping him around for the postseason roster, but if he keeps playing the way he has the last couple of games, Golden State might not have a choice.
