The Golden State Warriors are officially 2022 NBA Finals champions. They defeated the Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6, winning the series 4-2. Before the win, NBA Muse tweeted a statistic, which directly compared Draymond Green to Michael Jordan.

According to the tweet, Green and Jordan are the only two players in NBA history to have three championships, three All-Stars, and a Defensive Player of the Year title. Now, Green has four championships.

Of course, Green couldn't help but respond to the tweet, flaunting his “OD” resume.

This was the perfect opportunity for Draymond to silence the haters, and he took it. The Warriors forward has been ridiculed throughout the Finals by both fans and the media. He struggled in the middle of the series, recording more fouls than points. This, and Green's dedication to his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show,” were the main talking points against him.

Some people took it as far as comparing Green to Ben Simmons because of his tendency to pass up uncontested shots.

However, Green took the last two games of the series to completely turn the narrative around. He proved that he could continue his postgame podcast while also performing at a championship level. Green recorded a double-double in the Warriors' championship win, contributing 12 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. And now, he's being compared to Jordan, widely known as the greatest NBA player of all time.
