The Golden State Warriors are on top of the NBA world. After two years of languishing at the bottom of the league, the former dynasty made their triumphant return to the throne. The Stephen Curry-led squad went on an absolute tear in the regular season and the playoffs, eventually winning the Larry O'Brien trophy.

The Dubs aren't resting on their laurels yet, though. They have lost a couple of key pieces in free agency, pieces that helped them greatly in their Finals run. Because of that, they are looking to improve the roster by making small signings. One of these moves by the Warriors is signing undrafted big man Trevion Williams to an Exhibit 10 contract (via Shams Charania of The Athletic).

Williams is signing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Warriors, which is essentially a one-year contract on the minimum salary. Williams will have a chance to compete for a roster spot before the season starts. If the team is impressed enough by his performance, they could convert his contract to a two-way spot.

The Warriors' big man depth was a minor point of concern last season during their Finals run. Kevon Looney was incredible for the team throughout the playoffs. However, other than him… the options were lacking. James Wiseman's injury forced the Dubs to play small-ball more and more. It worked out for them, but one bad matchup could've ended their run prematurely.

With Wiseman returning from injury soon, the Warriors are looking ready to dominate the field yet again. We'll see if they keep Trevion Williams around as a potential backup plan in case another injury happens.
