Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman has established himself as one of the most promising big men in the league today. His development in his rookie year has been tremendous, and as it turns out, he's had a lot of help from the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

When asked by Mark Haynes of ClutchPoints which opposing veterans have provided him with some much-needed advice early in his career, Wiseman talked up the Brooklyn Nets duo of Durant and Irving (h/t Anthony Slater of The Athletic):

Wiseman shared how he has been turning to Durant for advice ever since he was in high school. For his part, KD has been more than willing to impart some of his knowledge on the Warriors youngster:

“I talk to KD everyday,” Wiseman said. “We talk about the system, how he was able to fit into the system here. And he just gave me a lot of advice.”

The Warriors stud then went on to share how Irving has likewise guided him in his development as an NBA player:

“Kyrie Irving just told me in order to separate myself from my class I have to have the effort,” Wiseman said. “And just keep putting in the work. Just keep putting in more minutes and more hours into my craft. Just work hard everyday .”

While these are not groundbreaking, these are definitely a few things that will help Wiseman in his journey. The fact that he has the backing of two of the biggest stars in the league today will also work in the favor of the Warriors rookie in terms of building up his confidence.
