The NBA trade deadline has come and gone, but teams will be allowed to trade once again after the season comes to an end. Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, was asked point-blank about James Wiseman's possible availability this offseason. The Warriors rookie center has had an up and down season this year, and for that reason, Kerr gave a rather vague response, per 95.7 The Game.

In Kerr's answer, he provides three names in the league that are deemed “truly untouchable in the NBA.” James Wiseman was not one of those names, which begs the question, is Wiseman on the trading block or not?

Wiseman is likely not on the trading block, but if any teams are interested, the Warriors are sure to listen. It'll be interesting to see how Golden State approaches the offseason, as Klay Thompson is set to return next year. With him returning the lineup, the Warriors may plan to move Wiseman for a veteran player to help them “win-now.”

The rookie center would likely bring in a nice haul of depth players, improving the roster in more ways than none. He has solid potential to become a force in this league one day.

The Warriors are in the middle of fighting for their lives in the playoffs, but looking ahead to this summer, Golden State may have a substantially different lineup moving forward.
