ESPN analyst Jay Williams, during a hit on “First Take” with Stephen A. Smith, called former Golden State Warriors big man Andrew Bogut a shooter.

As expected, Smith had a hilarious response to Williams' terrible take, while former NBA center Kendrick Perkins questioned why Williams would say something so blasphemous.

Jay Williams knows his basketball. However, it appears his lack of sleep on draft night prevented him from saying the right things on Thursday.

Andrew Bogut was a great passer and rebounder in the NBA, but he couldn't hit a jump shot to save his life. New Warriors center James Wiseman is going to be great in Golden State since he's a monster in the post and can hit the mid-range jumper.

While Warriors fans are excited about getting Wiseman, their overall spirits are really low right now after news broke that All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson tore his right Achilles and will miss the entire 2020-21 season. Thompson, of course, didn't play at all in 2019-20, as he was recovering from the left ACL tear he suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

It sucks to say this, but the Warriors won't be title contenders in 2020-21 now that Thompson is out. While Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Wiseman will keep Golden State afloat in the Western Conference standings, there's just no way the Warriors are going to compete for a championship without Thompson, who is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.
