The Golden State Warriors have a few new faces on the 2021-22 squad. Throughout the preseason, Steve Kerr has expressed how happy he is with this year's roster. But he isn't the only one in the locker room that shares the same feeling. Jordan Poole is a fan of this roster too.

“We have a really good team this year. We're excited about the players that came over, and we're going to be able to really click.”

On opening night, the Warriors pulled off a tricky come from behind victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Jordan Poole was the one who ignited the team to make a comeback. He scored 20 points with 16 second-half points against LeBron James and the Lakers. Stephen Curry had a team-high 21 points but struggled from the field the entire game.

This game was about the newcomers and players that came off the bench. Nemanja Bjelica had 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Damion Lee poured in 15 points as well. Then Andre Iguodala, in his second stint with the team, added 12 points as part of the second unit. The bench scored a whopping 55 points, and everyone who played longer than a minute scored a basket.

If the Warriors can fully get back to their old strength in a numbers style of play, it could be a fun year for Golden State fans. It's early, but it appears they have the personnel on this roster to make it happen. Once Klay Thompson, James Wiseman, and Jonathan Kuminga return to the lineup, they will have even more firepower. That's when all the fun will begin.
