Kevin Durant may not be with the Golden State Warriors to celebrate their series win against the Houston Rockets, but he made sure his teammates know that he was watching and supporting them.

KD has been ruled out of their series against the Rockets after suffering a right calf strain in Game 5. He didn't join the team in Toyota Center for the crucial Game 6, but he watched the live telecast of the game and took it to Instagram to congratulate the team after their victory.

Losing Durant was a massive blow to the Warriors, especially with KD carrying the offensive load for the Warriors for much of the postseason. However, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson responded big time to help the Dubs secure their ticket to the Western Conference Finals.

Curry finished with 33 points, while Thompson had 27. Interestingly, Steph was scoreless in the first half before exploding in the second. The two-time MVP also scored a crucial 3-pointer with less than 90 seconds to play that allowed the Dubs to pull away for good.

Durant is the heart of the Warriors' offense, but the Bay Area team showed that they are more than just about Durant. As KD noted, it was one hell of way to close out a series, and it should only give the champions more confidence — as if they need more.

The Warriors expect Durant to return some time during the West Finals, though there is no specific timetable for his return.
