It has been quite a busy offseason for Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant after winning the first NBA title of his career.

According to Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch.com, Durant is set to speak at Disrupt SF for TechCrunch, which is the largest tech startup conference in the country to discuss his ventures in technology companies.

What do Kevin Durant, Rich Kleiman, Kirsten Green and Sebastian Thrun all have in common?

Well, they’ll be at Disrupt SF (September 18-20) to tell their stories onstage, and we’re absolutely thrilled to have them join us for the biggest tech startup conference in all the land. We hope to see you at the conference, too, and general admission tickets are currently available with extra early-bird pricing.

Over the years, Durant has dabbled into technology startup ventures such as Postmates, Acorns, The Players' Tribune and most recently Rubrik, which is located in Simi Valley. He also has the Durant Company that has made various investments.

Durant has become quite involved in this realm off the basketball court with more of a focus on his future career path once his playing days are finished. In fact, he has only increasingly become more associated with startup companies.

The 28-year-old could have much to offer in terms of advice to others looking to begin dipping into the many startup technology businesses.
