If there's one thing that Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant does not want to see pop up in his messages on social media, it's advice from strangers on how to play the game of basketball.

On Monday afternoon, Durant took to his Instagram story to issue a public service announcement about something that has apparently been bothering him as of late.

“Stop sliding into my DMs tellin' me how to hoop, you're trash, have a nice day,” Durant wrote, also throwing in a few emojis rolling on the floor while laughing.

The official Twitter account of the NBA on TNT was kind enough to notify many of us about Durant's PSA when they screenshotted a picture from the 2017 NBA Finals MVP's Instagram story.

Durant and the Warriors are in the midst of a two-game skid right now, as they've lost their past two contests on the road to the Portland Trail Blazers and the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, Golden State has been dealing with quite a few injuries lately, including superstar point guard Stephen Curry having missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle.

With Curry out of the lineup, Durant opened up to the media following the Warriors' 109-103 loss to the Wolves and admitted it's weird not having his star point guard by his side.

Via an article written by Nick Friedell of ESPN:

“It’s weird not having Steph out there. And Andre [Iguodala] and [David] West, Jordan [Bell], so we’re missing a lot, and we’re just kind of playing on the fly each possession,” Durant said on Sunday. “Quinn [Cook] has been up and down in the G League, so it's something we got to deal with, something that we just got to figure out, work through. And it's actually been pretty fun trying to figure things out throughout the game. Everybody's just coming together even better.”

Luckily, the Warriors (51-16) have Monday and Tuesday off to get some rest before they host the young Los Angeles Lakers (30-36) on Wednesday night in a nationally-televised contest at Oracle Arena.
