Before the Golden State Warriors hosted the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday night at Oracle Arena, Warriors superstar small forward Kevin Durant chopped it up with NBA legend Kevin Garnett and former All-Star Baron Davis.

Garnett, who will be enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame one day, tells Kevin Durant that he is the “OG” now.

Since joining the Warriors back in 2016, Kevin Durant has won two-straight championships and two Finals MVPs. Durant is universally recognized as the second-best basketball player in the world, trailing only Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

However, it looks like Kevin Garnett believes Kevin Durant has already taken over the mantle from James.

Durant is the best player on the best team in the NBA. He's the most gifted scorer in the league and could go down as the greatest scorer in NBA history when it's all said and done. James and every team in the game are chasing Durant and the Warriors. Until someone dethrones Golden State, they will hold that title as the alphas of the league.

Kevin Durant, now 30 years old, is averaging 27.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game this season. The nine-time All-Star is shooting 56.5 percent from the field, 38.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 92.5 percent from the free-throw line. The Warriors entered Thursday with a record of 10-1.
