It has been an injury-plagued season for Golden State Warriors big man Kevon Looney, and it doesn't look like his health issues will be over soon.

Per the Warriors' injury update via Logan Murdock of NBC Sports, the 24-year-old power forward will be out for at least three more weeks due to a lingering hip issue.

The Warriors announced that Kevon Looney, who has missed the team's last three games, will be re-evaluated in three weeks as he has been experiencing ongoing symptoms. According to the Dubs, the additional time will give Looney “the best chance for a full resolution.”

This certainly isn't the first time that Looney has been affected by injuries this season, as the fifth-year pro has only played in 20 of the Warriors' 63 games this 2019-20. An abdominal strain kept him out for 18 straight games earlier in the campaign while a nerve condition also affected the big man.

In those 20 games, the former UCLA product has averaged 3.4 points and 3.3 rebounds while playing 13.1 minutes a contest and shooting a career-low 36.7 percent from the floor.

Looney was an integral part of last year's Warriors team that made it to the NBA Finals, playing in 80 games averaging 18.5 minutes per game.

As a team, injuries have demolished Golden State's roster this season. The star backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson has played a combined five games, while former All-NBA defender Draymond Green has missed 20 games.
